We Arrive in Italy! - April, 2008

On April 2, 2008, we arrived in Civitavecchia, Italy, completing our one-way repositioning cruise. From here, Candi and I fly to Paris to spend a one-week vacation there. Brendan, in the meantime is staying onboard during the ship's dry dock in order to set up the new internet center. He's going to join me in Seattle after I return from Paris. I'll keep you posted!

After getting off the m/s Zuiderdam on April 2, 2008, Candi and I flew to Paris via Zurich. We got to Paris in the late afternoon.

Brendan and I in Funchal, Portugal. Some of the photos are views from the Funchal Passenger Ropeway, which is a gondola lift that transports people from the lower section Funchal to the elevated suburb of Monte.

Once you reach Monte, you can either walk back down, or take a toboggan which is pushed by two Portuguese guys. If you get the chance, take the toboggan - it's well worth it!
